Zumma becomes one of the 10 winning startups of the CAF Financial Inclusion Laboratory 2022

10 startups with a gender approach from Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia were the winners of the fourth edition of the CAF Laboratory for Financial Inclusion (LIF), promoted by CAF – Latin American development bank, with the aim of generating digital solutions for the financial inclusion of women.

Zumma, Easy For You, Incluirtec, Hi Sofi, Primer Latam SAS, Velara Fintech, Munay, Warmi, Mujeres WOW and Súper Pagos, are the 10 fintech winners of the fourth edition of the CAF Financial Inclusion Laboratory, focused on finding digital solutions that contribute to improving the financial inclusion of women in Latin America and the Caribbean.


LIF 2022 received more than 450 applications from different countries in the region, of which 96 were selected for the evaluation process, 20 presented their proposals on Pitch Day and 10 are the winners of the acceleration program that Seedstars and Endeavor will carry out.


The LIF 2022 is a platform that brings together the public and private sectors and entrepreneurs and investors with the aim of promoting business opportunities, favoring the interaction of the members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and providing concrete solutions to development needs.


Juan Carlos Elorza, CAF's Director of Analysis and Technical Evaluation of the Private Sector, commented that the main objective of the fourth edition of the Financial Inclusion Laboratory was identifying and promoting viable solutions with a high technological content that help solve needs in various areas such as education and financial capabilities of women, financial services with a gender focus and financial inclusion with an impact on the productivity of SMEs.
